About Us

Sri Jeevheshwara Educational Society 速 was set up by the children of late Sri Kendhole Ramanna (SKR) in the year 2001 under the leadership of Sri G Krishna Kendhole. Sri Jeevheshwara Educational Society 速 and Sri Jeevheshwara Trust are the flagship entities established and run by the SKR Group. SKR Kannada Medium Higher Primary and High School was set up in the year 2001-02 and SKR English Medium Higher Primary and High School was added to this in the year 2007-08. These institutions are established in Gangavathi, Koppal Dist., Karnataka and running successfully since then. They are providing formal education from Kindergarten to 10th standard in affiliation to the DSERT from the state of Karnataka. After the joining of Mr. Ram Mohan, a Chemical Engineer and former corporate top Executive turned Educationist, to the team for providing more professionalism to the management, in line with the vision of the organization, SKR PU College was added to this list of institutes in the year 2019-20 in affiliation with the Pre-University Education Board, Karnataka.

Academics

Pre-University college is affiliated to the Pre-University Education Board of Karnataka State with Science and Commerce streams. The interested students of Science stream are trained specially by a group of specialists for the NEET and IIT-JEE exams from the beginning of 1st year apart from training for regular board exams and K-CET. Interested students of commerce stream are similarly trained for the CA-CPT exam. Primary and secondary sections of both mediums follow the curriculum prescribed by the board of education from Karnataka state. The primary section of English medium is enriched with the curriculum designed by the Cambridge University Press. Both the medium sections are able to achieve consistent 100% results in board exams in the last many years apart from getting many distinctions every year.
